Course Information
Third Grade Reading uses Catholic National Reader, Book 3 as its primary reader. The program is based on mutual response: teacher reading and student listening, followed by student reading while the teacher and other students listen.
Vocal reading skill is practiced and developed throughout the course, and the child should read aloud every day. Through regular practice, students build reading fluency, expression, comprehension, and confidence.
