Faithfully Catholic,
Classical Online Curriculum

Kolbe Academy brings its faithfully Catholic, classical curriculum into engaging online course formats for students and families seeking structure, accountability, teacher guidance, and a vibrant Catholic academic community.

A Classical Foundation for Catholic Formation

Kolbe’s curriculum is built on a classical foundation and a Catholic understanding of the human person, bringing faith and learning together in a cohesive, thoughtfully sequenced program that supports the formation of the whole child.

Our materials are designed to:

  • Integrate faith and reason across every subject
  • Present history, literature, science, and culture through a Catholic lens
  • Emphasize virtue, moral formation, and intellectual rigor
  • Provide a thoughtful progression from elementary through high school
  • Support homeschool families, hybrid, school, co-op, and other learning settings

Live Online and Asynchronous Course Options

Kolbe’s online courses give students access to Catholic, classical instruction through structured online formats. Students may enroll full-time or part-time, making these courses a strong option for families using Kolbe as their main program as well as students in homeschool, hybrid, school, co-op, or other learning settings.

Live Online Courses

Live Online courses combine Kolbe’s Catholic, classical curriculum with scheduled class meetings, instructor guidance, assignments, feedback, and academic accountability. Students participate in live instruction while completing meaningful work outside of class.

For grades K–5, online courses balance live instruction with offline assignments, reading, writing, projects, and practice work. For grades 6–12, students may take individual courses or build a fuller online schedule, including courses that may expand what a homeschool, school, co-op, or hybrid program is able to offer.

Asynchronous Courses

Asynchronous courses offer a balance of structure and pacing support for students working through select courses without scheduled live class meetings. Courses may include weekly coursework, recorded lectures, online materials, assignments, discussion, feedback, grading, and teacher guidance.

This format is available for select courses and can serve families, schools, co-ops, and students in other settings who want structured coursework and teacher support without scheduled live class meetings.

Expanding Catholic, Classical Course Access

Kolbe online courses can help families, schools, co-ops, and hybrid programs access faithful Catholic instruction in subjects that may be difficult to offer locally, independently, or at every level.

Expand Course Offerings

Students may take select courses that a homeschool, school, co-op, or hybrid program may not have the staffing, schedule, or enrollment numbers to offer on its own.

Support Advanced Study

Online courses can help students pursue more specialized or advanced coursework, including upper-level, honors, AP, science, math, language, literature, theology, or humanities options where available.

Add Teacher-Led Structure

Families and programs can use select Live Online or Asynchronous courses to add instructor guidance, assignments, feedback, grading, and academic accountability.

Course availability varies by grade, subject, and format. Families and programs should review the current course catalog when planning.

Online Course Enrollment

Participation in Live Online or Asynchronous courses requires enrollment with Kolbe Academy. Students may enroll full-time or part-time, depending on the courses selected and the student’s academic needs.
