Literature 6
Literature 6 introduces students to literature in a deeper and more rigorous way through classic novels, poetry, and the lives of saints. Students encounter historical fiction, adventure, survival stories, works of moral formation, and saint biographies while developing a Christian approach to reading and literary judgment.
The course supports flexible book selection, allowing parents to choose works that fit the student’s reading level, maturity, interests, and broader course of study. Students also develop skills in book reports, plot analysis, literary devices, theme, character, setting, mood, tone, and point of view.
