The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe tells the story of four children who discover a hidden world beyond an ordinary wardrobe in an old country house. Entering the land of Narnia, they find a kingdom held in winter under the rule of the White Witch and a people waiting for deliverance.
As Peter, Susan, Edmund, and Lucy become involved in Narnia’s struggle, they encounter talking animals, unexpected allies, and the great lion Aslan. Each child must face fear, temptation, and responsibility as the conflict moves toward sacrifice and restoration.
Written as a continuous narrative, the novel invites readers to follow character development and moral choice within an imaginative setting.
