This booklet contains the materials classical Catholic homeschool students need to create a wall timeline—a visual display of human history. The colorful timeline allows the student to visually represent the key figures and events in Kolbe Academy’s third and fourth grade homeschool history courses. This timeline features all four eras studied in the history curriculum.
Stories of the Old World uses storytelling to introduce students to the civilizations and events that shaped our world. From life in the Fertile Crescent to saints in the Middle Ages, students will move through different time periods and gain a thorough understanding of the people, places, and events of the ancient world. Civilizations covered include:
- Egypt and Israel
- Persia and Babylon
- Greece and Rome
- Christendom and the Middle Ages
With a focus on combining geography and history, this course also highlights salvation history as part of Kolbe Academy’s mission to provide a classical education that forms the whole person in the true, the good, and the beautiful
